“Change is not something that we should fear. Rather, it is something that we should welcome. For without change, nothing in this world would ever grow or blossom, and no one in this world would ever move forward to become the person they’re meant to be.”

As most of you know Yoga Bywater in New Orleans has been closed since March 14th, 2020 due to Covid. In the subsequent months I have been making some hard decisions and feeling my way through this massive obstacle. I have recently sold the building and am relocating myself and the yoga studio to San Juan Island in Washington State. We’ve had a magical time on the corner and I thank everyone who has been a part of it. There will be more to come.

It is my intention to build a studio, here on the island on my families property, facing the Olympic Peninsula and the Puget Sound, it is spectacularly beautiful here. Often Killer Whales can be seen in close to shore, bald eagles and foxes are abundant. I’m 7 miles across from Victoria, Canada by water. I look forward to teaching here as soon as life allows. I’ll start building when weather and permitting allow. I have been dreaming of this for the last 10 years and the Pandemic forced the issue. Also my parents are getting older and I’m happy to be able to spend more time with them. I miss everyone and look forward to the next chapter. I’ll keep you posted as things progress. Take care and practice.

Much love,
